Emergency Line

Our emergency line connects directly with one of our adjusters so that policyholders have immediate contact with one of our team. Our toll free number (1-866-642-0660) is accessible across Canada. We pride ourselves on having an emergency line that doesn’t require the delays of an answering service.

Control Accounts

Through our technology and network of adjusters throughout the province and country we are able to provide exceptional control account services. You will get a consistent product at a cost effective price.

We create individual user accounts for our associates around the province and throughout the country. They report on our system thereby reducing any duplication of services.

Cost Control

As of summer 2003, we implemented a program aimed at controlling indemnity costs paid on claims. This is one of the ways in which we ensure that underwriters save money by using our firm.

We have canvassed the majority of restoration contractors across the province and have collected information on their labour and equipment rates. Using this information we developed a price sheet to which we expect contractors’ adherence.

Reporting Standards

Reporting requirements vary widely depending on our client and the type of loss involved. We can tailor reports to an underwriter’s requirements quite easily.

In general terms, we have internal standards that require a preliminary report within 24 hours. Usually the preliminary report is on the underwriter’s desk via e-mail and our website within an hour of assignment.

We have an internal standard of having our detailed investigative report to the underwriter within 21 days of receiving an assignment. This is an important step in making certain that the claim is moving forward immediately and reserves are adequately set.

Subsequent reports range between 30 and 60 days depending upon the type of loss. The frequency of our subsequent reports is at the underwriter’s discretion.

Our reporting format can range from short form reports through to detailed reports. We can tailor our reports to your needs.
